My Love...

My love!
in the age of
such a fiery noon
you are
the shadow of thick and fleshy tree…

In a burn up lonely night
you are the moonlight
silvery cool and calm...

In a life
like the wasteland
you are
the ocean of ever flowing
aabe zam-zam…

I am the earth
thirsty of years and years
you are
my immense rainy season...

You are the idol
My love
incarnates in my soul

At all
look at the inhibited dreams of mine
as I worship you for years and years
hiding of everyone...
-Dr Firdaus Khan

Two seasons of life...

Oh ! my love,
to have you and to lose you
are like the two seasons
of the life...

as like the thirst and ocean
or  may perhaps be
like the death and life...

the tradition has been prevailed
since the beginning of this universe
that on the palm of the life
there are the lines of death
and always on the verge of the colourful  dreams
there is an existence of  darkness...

Oh ! my love
to have you and to lose you
are like the two seasons
of the life...
-Dr Firdaus Khan

Autumn

Sometimes
the autumn fascinates
while our walking gently
on the dry out brown leaves
in the garden
and on the land
covered by the brown leaves…

sometimes
the whole scenery of autumn
becomes romantic
with the desolated branches of trees
and the pleasing soft and sweet
sounds of the birds…

sometimes
in the row of plants
with the wetting smell nearby
of ever growing flowers
such as marigold and roses
and on the older wall
raising calmly the sun shine
fascinates...

yes, the autumn itself has
its own glory
like spring and monsoon…
-Dr Firdaus Khan

Memories

Some of the memories
are reserved for those nice moments ...

when on the earth
the carpet of moonlight spreads all around
where the flowers with their moisten smell
make the nature more romantic...

and the season of romance blooming everywhere
when the eye-lash gratifying with lusty cheers
and there is an immediate desire of heart
that this time must stop here and now...

and throughout such a moment
too many centuries be surpassed…
-Dr Firdaus Khan

Waiting for you

Oh my love !
waiting  for you a long way
am being reached
to the stage of life
from where
the journey of life once started
comes to an end
with the breakage of last breathe...

but again right from here
the second journey starts
which will finally be over
in the doomsday...

such a journey of your love
I have to pass through in the life
from one place to far off distances
even life after the life
for you only...
-Dr Firdaus Khan

I am your love...

Oh my Prince !
I will be waiting for you
throughout the life...
You have stolen
all  the dreams of my eyes...

My soul misfits
in unknown city
It looks for you quite often
lost here in an alien way...

Feel afraid being lonely
in this desert path
Pull me out of
the agony of separation...

Invite me in your land
if you can't come here...
please don't torment me
I am your love...
-Dr Firdaus Khan

Desires

I did not get what I wanted in life, but I got much more than that. I wanted land and got sky. I got so much that now I don't have any desire for anything else.
Dr Firdaus Khan

When I am unwell

When I am unwell—my body drained by fever and the very act of resting becoming wearisome—everything outside my room suddenly seems so appealing. I long to wander outdoors, reaching as far as the distant horizon visible through the window. I yearn to fly up and touch the milky clouds drifting across the blue sky, to stroll for a while in the shade of a distant tree, or simply to walk aimlessly along the road visible from my window.

True Goal

Everything in the world is destroyed when it breaks, but a human being is built up after breaking and reaches their true goal. Therefore, if you ever find yourself broken in life, instead of becoming sad or distressed, gather yourself together and immerse yourself in a new endeavor. Insha Allah, you will certainly achieve a goal.

Laburnum

Nature has bestowed upon us so many gifts that we cannot even count them. One of these is the Laburnum.
There were several L
aburnum trees near our childhood home. It was a delight to see the yellow clusters of flowers on them. Now, only memories of them remain.
When I spot a
Laburnum tree during a journey, it brings such joy—as if I had stumbled upon a treasure.

Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra Salamullah Alaiha

On this blessed 20th of Jamadi al-Thani, we celebrate the birth of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra alamullah Alaiha — the Lady of Light, the Mother of the Imams, and the one whom the Prophet ﷺ honored unlike anyone else.
Those close to the Prophet  ﷺ narrate that whenever Fatima Salamullah Alaiha entered his presence, he would rise for her, embrace her, and seat her in his own place — a reflection of her unmatched purity and nearness to his heart.

Desires

There comes a time in life when a person gets tired of struggling. His desires die.The hope ends. Then he has no hope of anything good happening in life.
Dr Firdaus Khan

***

We have to struggle alone. The pain of failure also has to be endured alone. But when success is achieved, everybody comes to share it. This is the way of the world.

28th SafarThe Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said-

The city of Madinah holds two of Islam’s greatest tragedies:
The Last Messenger of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam rests in Masjid an-Nabawi, honored by millions who visit his blessed shrine. Yet across from him, in the ruins of Jannatul Baqee, his beloved grandson Imam Hasan Alaihissalam lies in silence- his grave destroyed, denied the same reverence.
Grandfather and grandson. two lights of guidance, yet buried in vastly different states within the same Madinah.
The Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said- “I leave among you two weighty things: the Book of Allah and my Ahlul Bayt. If you hold fast to them, you will never go astray after me.”
(al-Kafi, vol. 1, Page 294; Bihar al-Anwar, Volume. 2, Page 92)
May our tears and voices call for justice — for the restoration of Baqee, and for the dignity of the Ahlul Bayt Alaihissalam.

Aakhiri Chahshamba

Dr. Firdaus Khan
Festivals keep our culture and traditions alive. These are the treasures of happiness. They give us opportunities for happiness. They are an integral part of our lives. These festivals reveal the culture and civilization of any country and society. But with changing times, festivals are also being left behind. In fact, it would be better to say that they are coming to an end. Despite this, there are still many people who are keeping their traditions alive. If we talk about Muslim festivals, only two festivals are named. One is Eid ul Fitr, which is celebrated on the first date of Shawwal after the end of the month of Ramadan. It is also called Meethi Eid. And the second festival is Eid ul Azha, which is also known as Bakrid. This Eid is celebrated in the joy of Hajj and people offer sacrifices for three days. Ahle-Hadees offer sacrifice for four days. Apart from these festivals, there are many other festivals which some people celebrate with full devotion. One such festival is Aakhiri Chahshamba or Aakhiri Chahar Shamba.

What is the Aakhiri Chahshamba
The last Chahshamba is celebrated on the last Wednesday of the second month of the Hijri calendar. It is believed that Allah's Messenger Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam fell ill in the month of Safar. He (peace be upon him) had a fever and a headache. On the last Wednesday of this month, He (peace be upon him) recovered and took a bath.
Then they prayed, ate food and went for a walk. Special Nafil Salat are also offered on this day. The last Wednesday of the month of Safar is also known as 'Walk Wednesday'.

His (peace be upon him) followers keep a holiday on this day. They also took bath and wore good clothes. Delicious food was cooked in their homes. Sweet dishes were also cooked. they distributed sweets. They also went for a walk with their family members. What I mean to say is that His (peace be upon him) followers celebrated his recovery and this tradition continues even today.

It is significant that this festival started in Arabia, but now there is no information available about celebrating this festival there. But this festival is celebrated with great joy in many regions of India. This is the effect of the soil of this country, and the impact of the culture here is that even those festivals which have disappeared and ended from Arabia are celebrated here.
Actually India is a country of festivals. Festivals are celebrated throughout the year in our country. Many festivals are related to religion, while many festivals are related to folk life. The Akhiri Chahshamba may not be related to religion, but it is definitely related to faith. This is a festival of love. This is a festival related to the love of our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. There is love for every thing related to the lover. Apart from India, this festival is also celebrated in Pakistan and Bangladesh, because both these countries were also once a part of India.

Time

I had to talk to my mother about many things, but death did not give me time. And this time does not wait for anyone. That is why I talk to everyone. Who has seen tomorrow? Whatever is there is only today, right now. Time is slipping away from the fist bit by bit like sand.
That is why we do not postpone anything for tomorrow.
Dr. Firdaus Khan

Memories

What about time, it passes. It is only our memories that hold us in sad moments.
